Landmark Endeavors, Inc. (Landmark) was founded in 1997 in Granite Bay, California, by John P. Caulfield, Jr. The company is a small, well established home builder that specializes in the construction and/or sale of a variety of custom homes in the greater Sacramento area.


Landmark prides itself on utilizing a team approach to coordinate the custom home design and construction process. This allows the company to maintain a high level of construction quality and client/builder communication throughout the home building experience. The firmīs expertise enables clients to enjoy the construction process while completing their homes on time and within budget.


In addition to working with clients in creating the home of their dreams, Landmark also builds unique homes for those who do not have the time or the desire to go through the building process. John's background in business and his passion for building have created a strong foundation for Landmark Endeavors, Inc. John has a B.A. in Business Management from Loyola Marymount University and a Class B General Contractors License.


John is active in the industry serving on the Board of Directors for the Building Industry Association (BIA). John has also been involved in the local industry's HomeAid program, and he chaired the 2003 BIA Dream Home Showcase in Folsom. Further, John is a member of a national Builder 20 Club, which meets semiannually across the country. Here, John is able to share industry and business best practices with peers and learn about the latest trends in the building industry. John lives in Granite Bay with his wife and three daughters in a Landmark home.

Jim's 23 plus years in the construction industry provides the backbone for Landmark's Customer Service side of the house (Warranty function). As a licensed independent contractor, Jim's experience allows him to properly supervise and address all warranty items while maintaining the high standards the company requires. He has been associated with Landmark Endeavors, Inc. since its inception in 1997.

Scott Harris holds the important role of Project Coordinator/Estimator. He joined Landmark in March 2005, following an active tour of duty with the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Scott learned the construction trade from his father, a contractor-inspector in Pennsylvania. He uses that background to manage numerous Landmark projects effectively and efficiently. Scott lives in Land Park with his wife and daughters.
